LIVE EVIL

LIVE EVIL was a club and live-music venue at Rosenheimer Str. 5 in Haidhausen, Munich, inside the former Gasteig building. It opened in July 2023 as part of Fat Cat, a temporary cultural-use project, in the former GAST restaurant on the ground floor. Michael Zacharski, Tom Nemeth and Maurice Löw set it up after their Ankerhaide project in Haidhausen, where they had run concerts and club nights.

The restaurant space was adapted with a stage and a partition for live performances; it also had a bar, event space and a summer terrace. Capacity was about 300. Its programme covered jazz, indie, hip-hop and electronic music, with nights by promoters including bambam.fun and Terra Magica. Misanthrop, Current Value, Tyra and David Hornung were among the artists who played there. LIVE EVIL closed at the end of September 2026, when the Fat Cat project ended.
