Lofi

Lofi is a multidisciplinary club and event venue on Basisweg 63, near Amsterdam’s Sloterdijk district. It opened in October 2019 in a disused GVB bus depot, with Slapfunk’s Nelson Yogh Niemel and Nomads Festival founder Samuel Taselaar behind its creation. The club’s opening on 17 October coincided with a ZeeZout warehouse party during Amsterdam Dance Event, featuring Midland, Optimo and Avalon Emerson.

The venue combines an indoor warehouse club with an outdoor courtyard, alongside spaces called the Club and Colorfloor. Its capacity is about 2,000, and Funktion-One systems serve both indoor rooms, with the courtyard system used during the outdoor season. Programming ranges from house, techno and disco to warehouse raves, concerts, film screenings and community gatherings. High Tea Music, Liquicity, VBX and FUSE have run events there. Artists to play Lofi include Rhadoo, Tama Sumo, Culture Shock and Serum.
