Loftas

Loftas is a cultural venue on Švitrigailos gatvė in Vilnius, Lithuania. Founded by Viktoras Diawara and Živilė Diawara, it opened in 2010 in a former stamping shop at the Elfa factory. The 500-square-metre building was found in late 2009 while the founders were looking for a venue; Elfa had produced gramophones, radios and tape recorders. Loftas has hosted concerts, club nights, exhibitions, film screenings, theatre, festivals and conferences.

The venue accommodates 1,000 standing or more than 250 seated, and has a terrace. Its sound system includes Martin Audio loudspeakers and subwoofers with Crest amplifiers. Loftas hosts alternative, hip-hop and electronic music, with Selecta Events among the promoters running nights there. Qerty, Sansave, Blooom and KETA (LV) have played at the venue. Loftas Fest has taken place there since 2012, featuring local and international acts. Performers at the venue have included Editors and Fink.
