Mafali Cafe

Mafali Cafe is a dining bar on Kokusai Street in Asato, Naha, at 2F 1-1-3 Asato, Okinawa, Japan, near Makishi Station. It opened on January 27, 2007. The venue has seating for 42 and can accommodate standing events for up to 80 people. A stage, DJ booth and sound system support parties and live events. At night, the windows look out onto Kokusai Street; safari-inspired décor and gentle lighting shape the interior. Dishes include soup curry and tagine, and the cafe also sells T-shirts and recommended music.

Its music programming includes world music and drum and bass, and the owner performs as DJ Swing-Chang. The venue hosts DJ events, live performances, dance shows, exhibitions and film screenings, as well as a regular Monday belly-dance show. Promoters who have held events there include RAWFUSION, while performers have included MA-KO and Hayato.
