Mäurer

Mäurer is a bar at Roonstraße 19 in Cologne, Germany. It opened in January 2020 in the former Boogaloo bar, previously operated by Dawit Abrama. It was opened by Valentin Möckel, Frederik Birkhahn and Ahmet Demirhan, and the venue’s name refers to the building’s landlord. Inside, dark-grey walls and a turntable beside the bar form a minimalist interior. Its music policy focused on records, with weekend DJs playing sample-based soul, funk, hip-hop and jazz. The bar also continued to host the HSV supporters’ fan club and screen the team’s matches.
