Meet Compact Club

Meet Compact Club began as a travelling party project in 2015, staging events in unconventional spaces before establishing a venue in Cervia. Its first guest, Ed Davenport, played on November 21, 2015. In 2016, the project also operated as a second room within a Riviera hotspot. It later held events in different locations and settled in Cesena in 2019.

Since 2020, the club has been based in a Cervia basement known as “the bunker,” with two rooms: MEET and Bang Room. Its capacity is about 250. Techno is central to its programme, which has also included trance, gabber and tekno/tribe, alongside concepts combining music and visual arts. Artists who have played there include Phase Fatale, UFO95, Conflict409 and Jøtfen. The venue has operated independently, without investors or sponsors.

Meet Compact Club paused during the pandemic and returned to Cesena for several events in spring 2022. In 2026, a change in the building’s ownership left the club without access to its Cervia venue from January.
