Meow

Meow is a cafe and restaurant at 9 Edward Street in Te Aro, Wellington. Fully licensed, it opened there in October 2008, established by Damian Jones, with Rahine O’Rielly joining him not long afterwards. The venue holds about 400 people and has featured on New Zealand’s touring circuit since opening.

Meow has hosted electronic music events, including house and tech-house nights run by promoters such as Full Time Senders NZ. Artists who have played there include Satl, Tokyo Prose, 4am Kru and AC13.
