NUMBER 90 LONDON

NUMBER 90 LONDON operates as a bar, restaurant and events venue at 90 Main Yard, Wallis Road, in Hackney Wick, London, beside a canal near Olympic Park. It began operating in Hackney Wick in 2014 and marked its eighth birthday in 2022. Its interconnected spaces are Lock and Hideout, with a central bar between them, and the venue also includes the No.90 Bar. NUMBER 90 LONDON has capacity for about 350 people; Hideout, which officially opened on April 3, 2025, has a capacity of 450.

A redevelopment completed in 2026 changed the interior layout and upgraded Hideout’s sound system to match Lock’s, with acoustic treatment added. The event spaces use d&b audiotechnik sound systems. Technical equipment includes CDJ-900 Nexus decks, Technics 1210 turntables and an Allen & Heath DJ mixer. Hideout has 360-degree projection, while NUMBER 90 Live has a projector and screen. A refurbishment added a wooden dance floor and redesigned DJ booth. Recorded music and live performances are licensed in all internal spaces.

Fasterdnb has run drum and bass nights there. Its music programme has included jazz, disco, hip-hop and soul, as well as comedy, film, art and theatre. Listening-bar DJ residencies and a Sunday live music series began with the 2026 relaunch. The 2022 birthday programme included Maurice Fulton, while artists who have played there include Fabio, Grooverider, 2Shy MC, IC3 and Madcap.
