Organ Bar

Organ Bar began operating in Shibuya in November 1995, founded by representative Tetsuhiro Tanaka and DJ and producer Tatsuo Sunaga. It sits at 4-9 3F Udagawacho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, and became a gathering place connected with Shibuya-kei and Tokyo’s club culture. Sunaga left management seven years after the club began, and YOU THE ROCK★ later joined as a producer before other managers took over.

The venue has a small dance floor and occupies the same building as club Ball. Its music policy ranges across soul, jazz, house and hip-hop. Regular parties include Top Gear on the month’s final Tuesday and La Verdad on its first Saturday; by 2016 La Verdad was the club’s longest-running regular event. vinylDJ Eiji Takehana, Hironobu Jyounai and Kenta Tominaga are among the artists who have performed there.
