P29

P29 was a café-club on Piotrkowska Street in Łódź, Poland, reached through a courtyard entrance from Więckowskiego. The site had previously operated as Krańcoofka before Tomek and Bartek took it over and opened P29. Tomek had co-founded Klubokawiarnia Kawalerka, while Bartek Wójcik created the venue’s signature cocktails.

The courtyard held a garden with tiered seating and a raised stage, with further rooms in the basement; capacity was about 300. DJs and live musicians played there, and the club programme covered house, drum and bass, techno and breakbeat. Artists who appeared at P29 included Lyor Kalt, Alegria and Braincrush. P29 also hosted electronic events featuring jungle, dub, steppa, progressive house and tech house. After eight years at Piotrkowska 29, P29 closed in September 2026; by July, its team was looking for another site.
