Friday Pizza Party (Fridayhappiness Associação)
Pizza Night Algarve (Fridayhappiness Associação) · Algarve, Portugal
18:00 – 06:00
Pizza Night Algarve is the weekly gathering of Fridayhappiness Associação in Tojeiro, near Marmelete in the Monchique mountains of Portugal. The association was founded in July 2013 out of local meetups around a traditional stone oven, and began as an international community with a farm, eco-village and permaculture work before moving into mountain raves in the Monchique natural park. It aims to be a place for self-awareness and cultural exchange and is working towards self-sufficiency.
Pizza Night has been held every Friday since the early days, bringing musicians, dancers and artists from across Europe. The site has three dance areas, Kiosk, Temple and Selva, with music spanning techno, house, reggae and drum and bass, and artists such as Xminder, Lady CC and Marsha have played there.
