Proton the Club · Stuttgart, Germany
22:00 – 06:00
Proton the Club occupies Königstraße 49 in Stuttgart and can accommodate about 700 people. The venue began operating in 1999, with its physical space largely unchanged since then. It has two dance floors: the main room contains a stage and two bars, while the upper floor has another bar and a balcony entrance. Its sound setup includes Dynacord Alpha speakers, alongside a separate line-array system for headliner performances.
Initially an electronic music club, Proton later shifted towards hip-hop and Black music. From 2017, electronic music featured on Fridays, while Saturday nights could include hip-hop, R&B or reggaeton. A concept introduced in 2021 returned the focus to electronic styles such as techno, EDM, tech-house and harder sounds. Its own Electronic Playground party shared the programme with Musical Madness hardstyle events and Senses/Awake trance nights. ESKEI83 has performed at the venue; event promoters have included Felix Holzhauser - MGNFY and the club itself. On 27 February 2026, the club revised the lineup for a hard-techno event amid allegations involving DJs in the scene.
