Ramona

Ramona is an industrial-style bar and restaurant at 40 Swan Street in Lower Ancoats, Manchester. It opened in 2020 as a Detroit-style pizzeria and margarita bar in a former MOT garage. Joel Wilkinson, Adelaide Winter and Dan Mullen launched the business and acquired it through Caspertron Ltd in 2025, after it entered administration.

Within the converted building, the former MOT testing station houses the club room, called the MOT Station, which has capacity for roughly 350 people. Ramona hosts club nights with music spanning house, garage, breaks and jungle, alongside live events featuring DJs and bands. Its sound system had been upgraded by early 2022. Promoters running events there include Hit & Run, Makino and Ramona. Weekly Wednesday Ramona Radio broadcasts and parties are curated by Manchester DJ Rich Reason, while the Campfire Live programme began in January 2022 with a performance by Onipa. Artists who have played at the venue include SL8R, SP:MC, Rohaan and Ray Keith.
