Rock on the Rock

Rock on the Rock is a live-music venue at 41 Town Range in Gibraltar, operating since 2005. That year, Allan Alman took over its chairmanship and turned a disused building into a venue for live performance. Refurbishment added a stage, bar area, patio and soundproof rehearsal rooms. Its music programme included Friday performances by local and visiting bands, with Saturday nights given to drum and bass and alternative music. Events have also covered house, garage and bassline, with promoters including Bassfinity and SUB-SELECTIVE. The venue has hosted events in its courtyard and Gibraltar’s Noroc parties, including a Delooped Records showcase in June 2017.
