RUST Natklub

RUST Natklub is a nightclub at Guldbergsgade 8 in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. RUST has operated from the building since 1990, after taking over premises previously used by the Next Stop Sovjet movement. The venue combines live music and club events, with a music policy spanning commercial sounds, disco, hip-hop and R&B.

A fire in June 2007 caused extensive smoke damage, and the venue reopened on 29 February 2008 after renovation. The work added an upper floor with a bar and lounge. RUST has three rentable spaces: Stiletten, the basement bar and dance floor Støvlen, which holds 150, and first-floor Bodegaen, with room for 50. The venue’s overall capacity is about 220.

Das Disco runs on Fridays and Saturdays, hosted by drag performers, both established and new. Kim André is RUST Natklub’s drag manager and artistic director; appearances include TV 2 Zulu’s Store Dragdyst and the documentary En Fabulous Familie. RUST has also staged Heat, a Wednesday club night launched in 2008 with booker Morten Varano and Sonny B., known as DJ Typhoon. Artists to play the venue include Mew, MØ, Four Tet and Trentemøller.

RUST held a reopening party for the Natklub on 1–2 May 2026, with hip-hop and R&B sets.
