SILO

SILO is a 500-capacity music and event venue at 90 Scott Ave in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York City. It opened in early 2023 in a converted hangar and grew out of Secret Loft, an underground party started in a converted Williamsburg auto garage in 2012. Promoters Alex Neuhausen and Lilly Wolfson developed SILO after running Secret Loft, with its founding concept drawing on Tel Aviv party culture.

The venue’s main club room and bar are divided by a two-sided mural by Israeli artist Yoshi. The DJ booth is usually placed at the centre of the dance floor. A custom Danley system in the main room comprises loudspeakers, subwoofers and amplifiers. SILO books house and a broad range of dance music without a fixed genre or tempo, including vinyl-only nights. SILO and EMW Presents have run events there, with London Elektricity and Dave Shichman among the performers.
