Silodom

Silodom is located at An der Römerbrücke 3 in Saarbrücken, in a former industrial silo at the Osthafen. The harbour’s freight and storage operations had ended by the close of the 1960s. The building serves as the site’s central venue for parties, concerts, raves and workshops; evening parties can occupy as many as three areas, and capacity is about 800. The venue runs its own events, and performers have included S-vibe, Idu Berg, Boris and Lea Lindner. The venue celebrated its 11th anniversary in August 2024. The Osthafen also hosts the summer Osthafenfest and the community’s December gathering, Frosthafen.
