Slakthuset

Slakthuset began operating as a nightclub in 2010, using a former slaughterhouse on Slakthusgatan in Johanneshov, Stockholm. The venue spans 1,000 square metres over three floors, with three dance floors and capacity for 950 people. Its rooftop terrace, called Terrassen, is used for summer club events and can accommodate 800 guests. The venue is at Slakthusgatan 6, 121 62 Johanneshov, Stockholm, Sweden, and is operated by GSR Event AB. Music across the club’s spaces ranges from house and techno to hip-hop and R&B, with trance nights also held there. Themed events Klubb Retro and HITS feature music from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Contralux and Basklubben are among the promoters that have run events at Slakthuset. Trance events have featured Mira Iranpour and Marcus Christiansen.
