Solo

Solo occupies No. 4 on Commercial Street, along Jiangtai Road in Beijing’s Chaoyang District. DJ Wengweng, founder of Acupuncture Records and Lantern Club, established the Beijing venue as a room for electronic music. In 2022, its music area measured 18 square metres and included acoustic-processing, DJ, lighting and professional-standard sound equipment. The venue holds about 60 people.

Its programme has ranged from house and techno to drum and bass, with jungle nights among those in the UNDERCURRENT series. Eeka and leila have promoted events at Solo, where artists including Zii (CH), RESINATE, Heiyuen and Leiiila have played.
