Sound Machine

Sound Machine is an anonymous dance music community at 178 Bathurst Street, near Queen and Bathurst in downtown Toronto. It opened in 2022, with promoters and DJs driving its events; Torontojungle.com has run events there. The venue presents electronic dance music across house, breakbeat, jungle and drum and bass, with artists including BCee, Lush, Workforce, Breakage and Marcus Visionary. Its custom four-point sound system serves a capacity of about 400. Sound Machine discourages cameras, has no venue social media and offers no bottle service. In April 2023, it announced a move to another location.
