Speakerbox

Speakerbox is a live music venue at 39 40 Thong Lo in Bangkok’s Watthana district, with room for about 300 people. It started presenting live music at Ratchada Train Market in 2016, then relocated to Liberty Plaza in Thonglor in 2019. That location closed in August 2024, and in 2025 the venue shifted to a larger refurbished space in the same building, with a bar at the entrance and a separate performance room.

The venue’s two areas are The Speakeasy, which holds up to 200 people, and a sound-isolated Live Room with capacity for 350. Its programme covers rock, punk, electronic music and hip-hop. Bass Safari and Jungle Rumble SEA have promoted events there, and performers have included Deekline, 1908 and UN!X. Speakerbox added an L-Acoustics A Series system in January 2026, using an A10 Wide speaker on each side, two KS21 subwoofers and an LA4X amplified controller.
