Spin is a three-story club on Hancock Street in San Diego's Middletown area, with capacity for about 750 people. Built specifically as a club in 1991, the building first operated as Montage before Spin took over in 2007. Its early schedule included Giant Fridays, which brought DJs such as Armin van Buuren to San Diego. The venue has presented electronic music, drum and bass, and hip-hop, alongside art.
United By Bass Presents, Spin Nightclub, and Trancension have promoted events there.
