Stealth is a two-room club at Masonic Place, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham, next door to its sister venue, The Rescue Rooms. It opened on 30 April 2004, having previously operated as Envy, and was established by James Baillie and George and Sean Akins. Its opening weekend included Keep It Unreal, Tyrant and an official opening party. Early bookings included Mr Scruff and Craig Richards.
The club holds 660 across two rooms: Room One has capacity for 440 and Room Two for 220. Room One uses a Void sound system and Room Two a Funktion-One system, and the smaller room is equipped for live music. Doors connect Stealth with The Rescue Rooms.
Regular electronic music promoters run events on Fridays and Saturdays, with one-off events during the week. Stealth and Psyked are among the promoters to have put on nights there. Its programming has ranged across electronic styles, with early nights including Detonate and Tyrant alongside a weekly NME event. Bookings in the mid-2000s leaned towards drum and bass, garage and grime, before the club shifted towards house from 2010. Artists to have played include Andy C, Samurai Breaks, Bladerunner and Inja. Its history also includes the creation of club-night and promotions brands Dollop, Wigflex and Zleep. In 2015, Stealth was ranked 63rd in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs list. In February 2026, Stealth was shortlisted for BBC Radio 1’s Grassroots Venue award.
