Stereo is a café, bar and basement venue on Renfield Lane in central Glasgow. It has operated as an independent venue and café since 2007, when it moved from Kelvinhaugh Street to its present address. The building was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and previously housed a printing press; Stereo is a sister venue to Mono. Its street address is 20–28 Renfield Lane.
The basement club has capacity for about 300, while the wider programme includes club nights and live gigs, alongside film screenings, book launches, debates, cabarets, comedy, fundraisers and community events. Its bookings include performers from local, national and international scenes. StereoPresents, seraphim_sound, bitrot and VAJ.Power are among the promoters that have run events there. Artists to have played include Anikonik, Hometown Sound, gyrofield and netgf. In May 2026, Stereo launched Stereo Presents CIC, an initiative supporting marginalised artists, DIY promoters and grassroots cultural projects through workshops, mentoring, training and collaborative event production.
