The Ave Live

The Ave Live is located at 520 N Christopher Columbus Blvd in Philadelphia, where it began operating in November 2019. The space had previously served as the Egypt nightclub, and Soundgarden Hall, another Philadelphia electronic music club, had occupied the building as well. The venue accommodates about 1,500 people and operates under 520 Management LLC.

Its programming focuses on electronic music, with events covering bass, dubstep, house, techno, tech house and hard techno. Unlocked Presents has promoted events there. The group’s founders, Dimitri Laskaris, Josh Zwirzina and Eric Cuadrado, became owners of The Ave after working as its promoters. Artists who have performed there include Friction, Chris Lake, Subtronics and Green Velvet. Early bookings also featured Dirt Monkey and hip-hop performers Method Man and Redman.
