The Camden occupies a modern steel-and-glass building on Crowndale Road in Camden, London, opposite KoKo and within a short walk of Mornington Crescent Underground station. Its address is 65 Crowndale Road, NW1 1TN. The venue reopened under its present name in April 2022, after operating as Crowndale and Purple Turtle, and has room for about 400 people.
Live concerts, DJ performances and promoter-arranged club nights feature across a programme spanning reggae, soul, house and dancehall. The main dancefloor uses four 15-inch Martin Audio speakers and three 18-inch subwoofers, while the lounge floor has four 8-inch Optimal speakers and two 12-inch subwoofers. A stage PA and performance equipment serve both DJs and live acts. NOBODY CULTURE and Tayla have arranged events there, where The Ragga Twins and DJ Vibes have performed.
