The Clock Factory

The Clock Factory occupies the first and second floors at 63 Union Gate in Broadmead, Bristol, where it functions as a live-music venue and rehearsal space. In partnership with DBS, it provides a setting for practice and performance, with staging and technical equipment that can be configured for different uses. Its Lightroom Floor combines VOID Acoustics sound with a lighting installation spanning 28 screens; a separate 360-degree room has a DJ booth at its centre and a three-point Danley system.

Events cover house, techno, drum and bass, and jungle, with nights promoted by Clock Factory, The Students' Union at UWE, Invicta Audio and Electrikal Bristol. Dispatch Recordings and Integral Records have presented drum-and-bass showcases there, and performers have included RYDA and Jakes. The 360-degree room and TIME:CODE dance series began with a launch event on September 29, 2023, featuring Kahn & Neek, Joker and Soul Mass Transit System.
