The Echoplex is a live music venue at 1154 Glendale Boulevard in Echo Park, Los Angeles, beneath The Echo and near the Silver Lake border. It opened in 2006, with access through a separate alley entrance. Spaceland Presents operated the venue with The Echo in 2018; Live Nation acquired the company and the venue in 2019.
The room holds about 660 people, with an elevated stage for bands and DJ setups. A low-ceilinged area sits by the bar, which runs along the back wall; limited seating lines the sides. The venue is painted black. Its sound system, installed in 2017, is an L-Acoustics K2 line array, with K1-SB and KS28 subwoofers and X12 and X8 speakers.
Programming has ranged across electronic dance music, rock and reggae DJ nights. The Echo + Echoplex, Bassrush and Insomniac have run events there. Artists who have performed include The Rolling Stones, Nine Inch Nails and Green Day.
