The Garden Tisno

The Garden Tisno is a festival and music-event site at Petrića Glava 34, beside the fishing village of Tisno, Croatia. The grounds occupy a bay-side former holiday camp, and The Garden Resort was established when The Garden Festival moved there from Petrčane in 2012. The festival held its final Tisno edition in 2015, after which the resort continued to host music events.

The site sits on a gently hilly shore overlooking a sandy beach, and the bay helps limit noise reaching the surrounding area. The site has a main stage in a tree-lined park near the water, a beach terrace and a Tiki Bar stage. Its open-air Barbarella’s Discotheque opened with the move to Tisno and has hosted club nights and promoters. The resort has 80 apartments accommodating 300 people, 30 Indian Shikar tents and 120 pitches for guests’ own tents. Boat parties travel along the Dalmatian coast.

Festivals at the site include SunceBeat, Electric Elephant, Soundwave and Stop Making Sense. Its present festival programme focuses on house and disco, while drum and bass promoters including Hospitality UK, Hospitality Bristol and Undivide have run events there. Artists who have played include Basslayerz, Break, Camo & Krooked and Degs.
