The Hifi Club is a basement venue at 2 Central Road in Leeds. It opened in 2000, following the closure of The Underground, when Ed Mason, John Morelli and Steven Allison took over and brought staff and club nights with them. Its music programme combines DJ sets and live performances across soul, funk, hip hop, Motown, reggae and disco. Promoters who have held events there include Blowout UK, Kneeo, SUBDUB and The Hifi Club.
MoveOnUp is a weekly club night centred on sixties soul, while The Sunday Joint pairs live music with DJs playing soul, Latin, hip hop, funk and salsa. Acts to perform at the venue include Nightmares on Wax, SBTRKT and Gilles Peterson.
