The Jazz Cafe

The Jazz Cafe is a live-music venue at 5 Parkway in Camden Town, London. Jon Dabner and Jean Marshall founded it in Newington Green during the 1980s, before moving it to Camden in 1990. The new site was a former Barclays Bank branch. Mean Fiddler took charge of bookings in 1992, and The Columbo Group acquired the venue in 2016, carrying out a refurbishment that year.

The venue holds about 500 people. Its music programming has covered jazz, soul, hip-hop and dance, with club nights run by The Jazz Cafe, DaMetalMessiah, Columbo Music and Signal DNB. Drum and bass artists to have played there include Dillinja, Ray Keith, MC GQ and Doc Scott. In 2022, the venue refurbished its DJ booth and lighting and installed a new sound system by d&b audiotechnik. Past performers have included D’Angelo and Amy Winehouse.
