The Queen Mary

Built as an ocean liner, The Queen Mary now operates as a hotel and event venue in Long Beach, California, at 1126 Queens Highway. The ship contains 12 meeting rooms, with total indoor capacity of 6,673. On R Deck, the Grand Salon occupies 9,000 square feet and accommodates 700; it served as the first-class dining room.

The Britannia Salon, once a lounge for second-class passengers, includes a parquet dance floor and stage. First-class guests once used the Verandah Grill as a nightclub and restaurant; the room has hand-painted murals and a recessed dance floor. The Queen’s Salon contains three fireplaces made of golden onyx and original art from the ocean-liner era. The former first-class Smoking Lounge is now The King's View. Bassrush and Insomniac have held events aboard.
