The Racket Space

The Racket Space opened in September 2022 below The Bernard Shaw in Dublin, where The Bernard Shaw and Bodytonic unveiled it. Its address is Cross Guns Bridge, Drumcondra, Dublin 9. The programme spans club nights and live performances, alongside exhibitions, screenings and production classes. A recording studio and a shop selling records and lifestyle goods are also part of the venue. Its room holds 250 for club nights and 200 for live shows, while seated-event capacity figures are 120 and 150.

A Funktion-One sound system, a modular stage and walls for art and visual displays form part of the venue’s setup. Promoters that have staged events there include Absys Records, Bodytonic, Stage73 and Outstraight Records. Among the artists to play there are SHO and Keeno; the opening-season programme featured Jossy Mitsu, Sicaria Sound, aya and Plastician.
