The Rockwell was a bar and nightclub at 702 South Broadway in Fells Point, Baltimore. Bryan Burkert and Scott Chmielewski created the venue with musician Jack Barakat as an original partner. It opened in 2013 as Vale Tudo, a name meaning “anything goes” in Portuguese, and took the name The Rockwell in 2014. The club closed on June 7, 2026. The venue also operated as a modern rock tavern.
With capacity for about 300, the venue used bitmap projection screens for music videos, artwork and collaged images, changed weekly. Its programme included DJ dance parties, karaoke, live drumming and pop-punk singalongs, with an audience associated with alternative rock and pop-punk. Jeff Hearn DJed and played live drums there, often on Fridays and Saturdays. Cashed Kingom was among the promoters who ran events at The Rockwell. The bar also served craft liquors.
