The Sound House is a live music and arts venue and club at 28 Eden Quay in central Dublin, on the Liffey and a short walk from O’Connell Street. Founded in 2017, it is independently owned, with Ian Keogh named as owner. Its programme spans dance, funk, house, techno, psytrance and other electronic and live music, alongside theatre, film, comedy, spoken word, talk shows and podcasts.
The venue accommodates up to 300 people for club nights and 240 for live performances. Its PA uses Void Venu tops and Stasys subwoofers, with two Pioneer CDJ-3000 players and a Pioneer DJM-900 mixer in the DJ setup. It also has a private bar and rooftop terrace. Electronic Party Ireland has run events there, and artists who have played include angel tabris, SKULHANE, GØNA and Ikigai 3000.
