The Trusts Stadium · Auckland, New Zealand
16:00 – 22:00

The Trusts Stadium is located on Central Park Drive in Henderson, Auckland, and hosts sporting events and concerts. Construction began in February 2003, and Helen Clark, then New Zealand prime minister, opened the indoor arena in September 2004. The site had previously been called Kings Orchards. Building costs came to $28,017,889, including a $5 million contribution from The Trusts, and the project opened without debt.
Developed for sports, community use and events, the complex holds about 5,000 people, and includes the all-weather Douglas Track and Field. The Waitakere City Rugby & Athletic Trust was formed in 2002, and rugby and athletics clubs leased rooms in the main building. The venue joined Auckland’s commercial concert market in 2007, with early sold-out shows by One Direction, Muse, Alice Cooper and Adam Lambert. It has hosted drum-and-bass events, with performers including Basslayerz and Hedex.
