The Vault Nightclub Bournemouth

The Vault is a nightclub at 39 Poole Hill in Bournemouth, in a renovated former bank building that began life around 1900 as the Norwich Union Building. Over the decades it housed stamp auctions, the 1990s club Bartonka, and The Winchester, which hosted bands, house, techno and spoken word until May 2017, before spells as Banque & Bohem and Hamptons. The Vault name was in use by August 2021, and operator Tall Bars Ltd took a 15-year lease that November.

The club spreads over three floors with three rooms: the Depository, holding 350, and the LVL1 Cocktail Lounge and The Attic, at 125 each, for about 500 in total. Its sound comes from Void Acoustics, and the music is underground dance music.

Promoters such as Rewind Events, Impulse Audio, HotCakes and Jungle Cakes have brought Nicky Blackmarket, Deekline, Simula and Crossy, while house brand The Motive held a residency in 2022.
