Tuff Club occupies the 19th floor of an office building in Singapore’s Central Business District, at 138 Robinson Road, #19-01. The Council first opened it as a pop-up on Robertson Road on April 5, 2018, meant to run for three months. It later became part of Singapore’s local underground scene. Its capacity is about 250, and its programming covers house, drum and bass and jungle, UK garage, and techno.
The venue has a Funktion-One sound system, custom lighting and an outdoor terrace. During a September 2024 relaunch, the sound system, lighting, DJ console and layout were redesigned; the venue also added restrooms and a bar and upgraded the terrace. Kings of Bass and LUST’S SILENT DOMAIN have held events there. Degs and Buunshin have played there, as have techno names such as Marcel Dettmann and Dax J.
