Turtur

Turtur is a club, bar, pizzeria and cultural space at Am Veringhof 13 in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg, beside the Veringkanal. It began in 2014 in the former Tonne bar, which Mona Michels took over and developed into a club and pizzeria. Its original format switched between a winter club and summer pizzeria. Michels also started the Thursday party series “All of Us!”, serving pizza before techno. The Thursday series lasted three years.

The club programme ended in 2022, and the venue moved to year-round pizzeria and bar operations in 2023. Under new management from Sebastian Ploog and Moritz Nevermann, Turtur reopened as a club, bar, pizzeria and cultural space in February 2025. Its programme has covered electronic music, punk and hip-hop, alongside concerts and DJ sets, with Scheinriesen GmbH among the promoters. Total capacity is about 150, with room for 70 to 80 people on the dancefloor or at concerts. Artists who have played there include Fibe, Eightball, Sindicate and Cøral Negrø.
