Twisted Lime

Twisted Lime is a nightclub at 1/112 Liverpool St in Hobart’s central business district, Australia. It occupies the second floor of a building and is accessible only by stairs. Inside are a dance floor, stage, DJ booth and full-size bar, with DJs and live music among its programme.

Events have covered drum & bass, jungle, dubstep and hip-hop. Promoter Twisted Lime has run events there, and South Weight Hi-Fi has staged sound-system takeovers; Ziggy is among the artists to have played. In a licensing decision dated 14 November 2024, the Commissioner for Licensing refused Twisted Lime’s application for a general liquor licence. The venue held an on-licence at that point.
