Unit Nine

Unit Nine is an independent venue in a former warehouse at 9 Bridgeturn Avenue, Old Wolverton, Milton Keynes, with room for about 300 people. It began operating in 2016, with its launch event held in November. Jamie Stimpson managed the launch, and Dom Rampello was among its owners. The converted warehouse marked its tenth official year in 2026.

Live music, club nights and one-off events feature in the programme, supported by sound and lighting equipment. Promoters using the venue have included Crucast and Riddim Runnerz, while performers have included Chase & Status, Andy C, Aries, Carasel, Diagnostix, Martin Kemp and Craig Charles. FUTURE SOUNDS provides aspiring DJs and producers with performance opportunities. In 2026, Unit Nine received the Skiddle award for the Gig category’s “Venue That You Remember the Most.” It was also one of four Milton Keynes venues selected to share £40,000 in council funding for grassroots music programming and opportunities for local artists.
