Unter Deck

Unter Deck opened at Oberanger 26 in Munich in early 2013, founded by Tobias Lintz, who was associated with the club Holy Home. Jakob Nikodemus Hasselt serves as artistic and managing director, and the venue is operated as a GmbH & Co. KG. Its programme spans electronic music, punk, rock, electro, techno, house and country, alongside spoken-word events. The venue presents about 250 concerts each year, and private events are prohibited.

DJ sets usually run Wednesday through Saturday, with Sundays included only when Monday is a public holiday. Concerts sometimes take place Sunday through Tuesday, and occasionally on Wednesday or Thursday; readings and similar events can occur on various days. Residents and collaborators include Fresh Fry, Funky Peter Test, Peter Panflöte and Kollektiv Rampensau, while promoters at the venue have included bambam.fun. Its named party series include Bootlick, Jeckpot and House of Gold. A club night marked the venue’s tenth anniversary, featuring Kitt Bang and Yannic Bartel.
