Village Underground Lisboa is a creative venue in Alcântara, Lisbon, at Avenida da India 52, within the city’s transport museum complex. The Village Underground concept began in London in 2007 and opened in Lisbon in 2014; its Lisbon site is a certified creative incubator built around adapted shipping containers and repurposed double-decker buses.
The 2,200-square-metre complex includes workspaces, a café and restaurant, and spaces used for concerts and club nights spanning electronic music including drum and bass.
