vurt.

vurt. occupies a concrete basement bunker at 11 Dongmak-ro in Mapo-gu, near Hapjeong Station in Seoul. The club began operating in 2014 under the slogan “Ancient Future” and has room for about 200 people. It closed temporarily during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2015, DJs Suna, Unjin, DJI and Soolee managed the venue, while an engineer from Allen & Heath operated its sound system.

Techno is central to vurt.’s programme, which features underground artists from Seoul as well as international DJs, including bookings from Europe and the United States. The club has also promoted events at its own venue. Artists who have played there include Djilogue, Knaif, Konduku and Philipp Kim. In August 2026, vurt. celebrated its 12th anniversary across two nights centred on its core sound and artists closely connected with the club.
