Warehouse on Watts

Warehouse on Watts is a mixed-use event venue at 923 N. Watts Street in Philadelphia’s North Broad Street Corridor. Owner Gavin DiRusso bought the building in 2013, intending at first to use its garage for his own projects, before developing it for events. It began operating as a venue in the late 2010s, after its earlier life as a rope factory and greeting-card company. Before Warehouse on Watts, it housed Club 923, a venue primarily for teenagers.

The building also accommodates small businesses and artists. Its two event spaces are Cambridge Hall, a downstairs bar, and The Loft, an upstairs nightclub and performance room; the venue holds about 800 people. DiRusso upgraded the sound and lighting, with a Funktion One system rated at 30,000 watts peak power and lighting by Klip Collective. Music programming has included dance, disco and industrial goth, with events run by Mighty Mike Saga and Hostile City. Artists who have played there include LTJ Bukem, Alix Perez, Grafix and JEWELSSEA. A temporary closure began on July 1, 2026, with reopening planned for September.
