Wonderville

Wonderville is an arcade bar and event space on Broadway in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York City. Mark Kleback and Stephanie Gross opened it in 2019, drawing on their experience with Brooklyn DIY music venues. It became a permanent home for the Death By Audio Arcade collection, with more than 20 independently developed games. The venue combines the arcade with a bar and programming that includes live music, workshops, tournaments and new-media performances. The performance room has a stage measuring 10 by 7 feet, with capacity for 75 people standing or 15 to 20 seated at tables. Its equipment includes QSC loudspeakers and subwoofer, stage monitors, a Behringer X32 sound board, Pioneer DJ players and mixers, and Technics SL-1200 turntables. CitySoul.nyc, SHED BOYXZ, iochipmusicnyc and Jake Korolev have promoted events there. Artists to play Wonderville include Cryostatik, Alex Viper, DJ girlcrush and BLCKLST.
