Yard & Warehouse at Pitt St. Skatepark

Yard & Warehouse at Pitt St. Skatepark is an events space at 315 Commercial Road in Portsmouth, with room for about 1,000 people. Its indoor venue occupies part of a former Sainsbury’s supermarket, while the outdoor area uses the building’s open-air car park. The Undercover Skatepark Project, a community interest company founded by Jacob and Jenna Skinner, developed the site after conceiving the project in 2018. Pitt St. Skatepark opened to the public in Portsmouth’s Charles Dickens ward on 10 December 2022.

The wider facility has indoor and outdoor wheeled-sports areas and a multi-purpose rink, alongside ramps, rails and open spaces. Pitt St. Kitchen operates as an on-site café and bar. The event space divides into the indoor Warehouse and the outdoor Yard, which can be hired separately or together. A heavyweight sound system and lighting are installed at the venue.

Yard & Warehouse launched in 2023 with a house event headlined by Patrick Topping, using both the Warehouse and Yard. Its music events cover house, drum and bass, jungle and dubstep, with Concrete Music among the promoters. Acts hosted at Pitt St. Skatepark include Fatboy Slim, Chase & Status and Shy FX; Andy C and A Little Sound appeared at events in 2025.
