Zwille

Zwille is a student-organised venue and activity space on the Technische Universität Berlin campus at Fasanenstr. 1, Berlin. It is run by students and non-students and used for parties, band rehearsals, jams, workshops and talks. In 2009, after students occupied Villa BEL at the university, negotiations resulted in the group being granted use of Zwille in another campus building.

The rooms include a kitchen, a band room and small and large seminar rooms, with capacity for about 400 people. Events have used indoor and outdoor areas, including a courtyard stage. Music there ranges from drum and bass, UK garage, breaks and jungle to techno, trance and punk. Promoters who have put on events include UMZUMZ, bubnit and FRAKTVRED; artists who have played include ENOME, icanseesounds, CDLC and Makossiri.
