This mix is very special.
Filmed up on a rooftop, this set is built entirely from tracks released on Low Down Deep over the past decade. But what makes this project truly unique is the voice alongside it.
Featuring the legendary Stevie Hyper D — one of the most iconic and influential MCs in Jungle music history — this mix is my way of paying homage to a pioneer who shaped the scene we all love today.
"Sadly, I never had the chance to work with Stevie while he was alive. That’s something that’s always stayed with me. So this project is deeply personal — an opportunity to reimagine what it might have sounded like if his unmistakable energy and flow were laid over modern-day Drum & Bass. The mix was done to help promote the launch of the feature length documentary made on Stevie's life titled 'HYPER'! This is hands down the best documentary that's ever been made on Jungle Drum & Bass"
~ Logan D
Every blend in this set has been crafted with respect — keeping the raw spirit of Jungle alive while pairing it with the sound of the last 10 years. It’s not about replacing the past, but celebrating it, and showing just how timeless Stevie’s voice truly is.
This is more than just a mix — it’s a tribute.
Rest in peace, Stevie Hyper D. Your legacy lives on. 🕊️
