At 16, Simone Vallecorsa began making music; the Italian producer and DJ, known as Aeph, became interested in drum and bass through producers including Bad Company and Dillinja. Now based in London, Vallecorsa has released music on labels including Eatbrain, Bad Taste Recordings, Lifted Music and Position Music. Aeph’s drum and bass production has also been described as combining electronic sound design with orchestral elements.
Aeph’s 2009 single “Clashstep / Club Shifter” came out on Subsonik Sound. With Maztek, Aeph released “The Dirt” on 0101 Music, and a collaboration with Kings & Creatures produced the album Genera. Further work with Kings & Creatures includes the EP Genera II and the single “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper.” Aeph’s collaborations also include Blackway and Koko on the single “Impossible,” and Koko on the 2022 EP Impossible.
In 2023, “Beginning” arrived with Kings & Creatures and SINK on Kings & Creatures / Position Music. The 2024 singles included “ECHOES” on enterthevision.tv, “Tomorrow” with Kings & Creatures and Willow Knox on Hive Music / Position Music, and “Slayer” with JDM Music + Sound. Aeph’s 2026 album Rosa Elettrica (Original Soundtrack) was released on SATV/ Rosa Elettrica.
